Pilots
Build, integrate, and test all modules (digital and non-digital) and prepare for pilot deployment.
The main objective of WP4 is to test and validate the feasibility, adoption and clinical utility of the CAREPATHS’s toolbox in patients with Obesity, T2DM, and CVD across diverse regions and health care settings.
The main objective will be achieved through the following sub-objectives:
- To perform an open non-randomised study of the use of the toolbox in the setting of general practices and community pharmacies in patients with T2DM and/or CVD in Spain, Germany and Poland (pilot 1)
- To perform an open non-randomised study on the use of the toolbox in primary care or hospital setting in patients with obesity in Israël, Sweden and the Netherlands (pilot 2)
- To perform an open non-randomised study of the use of the toolbox in the setting of general hospitals or outpatient clinics in patients with CVD in the Netherlands, Germany, and Spain (pilot 3)
- To perform an open randomised controlled Proof of Concept (PoC) study on the use of the toolbox in hospital and outpatient clinic setting in three hospitals in Germany in patients with T2DM (PoC)
